A photo a day, for 3 months, with no post processing, using only a manual 50mm lens.
The idea is not original, but hopefully the results will be.
My photography background: I don't have any. I'm not a photographer; I've never taken a photography class. This project is more about learning to take better photos than it is about documenting life.
You may be thinking, "So you're just some idiot who bought a fancy camera for no reason?" Yes. In the middle of 2009 I walked into a Ritz Camera that was closing and saw a Pentax DSLR with kit lens going for less than $200. I bought it.
While I had played around with the manual settings on my point and shoot, my primary motive for buying was knowing my dad had a bag full of old Pentax lenses sitting in a closet, waiting to be used.

- Pentax M42 to K mount adapter
- Asahi Pentax 50mm f/1.4 Super Takumar screwmount (circa late 1960s, maybe)
